Ryuji Yashiro (Mitsuki Koga), Wakagashira of the Sumida-gumi, and his Wakagashira-hosa Takashi (Makoto Kurami) have long supported the organization with their fearless determination and brute strength. Despite slowing them down, Kazuya (Koji), the biological son of the Yoshida-gumi’s boss, had always chased after them desperately. The three were inseparable. However, everything changed during the two years Ryuji and Takashi were overseas procuring weapons. Now the head of the Yoshida-gumi, Kazuya had broken away from the Sumida-gumi and begun causing chaos on their turf, incited by the rising Kansai-based Tamaki-gumi, who had no regard for anti-gang laws or traditional codes. Driven by rage, Takashi is swiftly taken down, and when Ryuji rushes to the scene, he is forced to face an ultimatum from the Sumida-gumi: "Make amends as a yakuza—by becoming a civilian."

Set in writer/director Chris Cooke's birthplace of Jersey, this is a twisted travelogue using the scars on a young street drinker's skull as a route map of the tiny tourist island.

The film is about Viktor, an eleven year old boy who has only one hero in the world, his older brother. Viktor and his buddies, Roger and Arnor are trying to start a band to be cooler. Something that does not seem to work out.

Scars is a recreation of a series of interviews done over about a year with Chris, a man with a violent, dangerous past who, now with wife and child, talks about his regret for the pain he has caused to his victims, how his personality was molded by his violent father, and his fears for his young son. Jason Isaacs stars as Chris, and is interviewed by Leo Regan (as himself).

Anya, an exemplary housewife, devoted her life to taking care of her family. Relatives are used to the fact that mom is always alone at home with three children, while dad Sasha disappears at work. One day, offended by her husband's inappropriate antics, Anya decides to leave him with the children and find a job, starting an independent life. It doesn't work out all at once. And at this time, the children, being alone at home, make a real commotion.
